Ingredients
- 1 cup raw shelled hemp hearts
- 3 cups water
- 2 dates, pitted, optional
- 1 tsp vanilla extract, optional
- Pinch Himalayan salt, optional
Instructions
- Add hemp hears, water, pitted dates and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 2 minutes, until smooth and incorporated.
- Taste flavor and adjust as needed. Add 1 or 2 additional pitted dates for sweetness.
- Optional: strain the mixture using a nut-bag or cheesecloth for a creamier texture.
- Pour mixture in a sealed glass container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- Storage: store homemade hemp milk in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Shake before using, separation is normal.
