Smooth and creamy chocolate hummus recipe ready in 5 minutes. This dessert hummus pairs well with fruits and pretzels.
- 1 15oz can chickpeas, drained
- 3 tbsp tahini, drippy not paste
- 3–4 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp dutch process cocoa
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp water, optional
- Pinch of sea salt
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients; drained chickpeas, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla, 1 tablespoon of water and salt. Puree until the mixture is smooth and creamy, add another tablespoon of water if the consistency is too thick. Taste and add more water or maple syrup if desired.
*I sprinkled chocolate syrup, edible gold and chocolate salt on top before serving. Totally optional but we loved it!
