This recipe is super easy to make and honestly, it’s THE BEST brownie recipe I’ve ever made! I used Valrhona Cocoa Powder and creamy natural peanut butter, a mix of butter and oil, and chocolate chunks for extra fudginess.

Description

Deliciously gooey and fudgy brownies marbled with a peanut butter swirl. Simple and quick to make and ready in 30 minutes. Go ahead and indulge!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F, grease and line a 9×13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate chunks. Sift the cocoa powder and combine, whisking until glossy.
  3. Sift flour, whisk in the salt and set aside.
  4. In the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whisk eggs and sugar until creamy. About 5 minutes. Switch to the paddle attachment and add the chocolate mixture and oil, and continue beating.
  5. Fold in the flour using a spatula, until fully combined.
  6. Pour onto lined baking sheet.
  7. For the peanut butter swirl: place peanut butter in a heat-proof bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Whisk in powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Spoon and drop peanut butter onto batter and make swirls using a knife or spatula.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, until the top forms a crust. Peanut butter will have a soft wobble.

  1. This is the best peanut butter brownies, I love peanut butter and now I can enjoy the best of both worlds. The taste and texture of these brownies are phenomenal. Thanks for these.

  2. You called for a teaspoon of salt but then never listed when to put it in in the recipe. They turned out great without it but just thought I’d point it out if it hadn’t been commented yet. With the peanut butter you really don’t need any extra salt.

  3. My family loved these! Quick question. Salt is listed in the ingredients and maybe I’m just not seeing it in the directions? Should you use salt? I added it to the flour.
